Log Scaler/Yard Person

NHLC is seeking a detail orientated person with the ability to work outdoors in all seasons and consistently grade and scale hardwood logs.  In addition the person will be cutting and sorting logs and will use the following equipment:  Handheld computer, front end loaders, skid steers, chain saws, cant hooks and scale sticks.  The person must be able to work alone and be able to work with our vendors.  Professionalism, temperament and good judgement are a must.  This is a full time position with competitive wages and benefits.

General Labor

NHLC is seeking general laborers to stack and sort hardwood lumber. Applicant must be able to lift fifty pounds routinely and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Ability to lift, stoop, and stack is essential. Attention to detail is a must. Counting pieces and working in a fast pace environment are to be expected. Applicant must submit and pass a drug test and pre-employment physical. This is a full time position with competitive wages and benefits.
